The Job

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be responsible for generating and qualifying new leads for our Sales Managers. The SDR role is a starting point for upward mobility through our sales team. You will receive all of the training and resources necessary to be successful in software sales. It is an incredibly exciting opportunity to get in on the ground level of a young, SaaS company where you can develop your career around bright, ambitious professionals.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop lists of new prospects in both existing and emerging markets
  • Pre-qualify leads for sales managers
  • Generate leads for the sales managers by scheduling sales meetings from cold outreach (emails, calls)
  • Utilize marketing automation software to design prospecting campaigns
  • Follow up on marketing activity to set qualified meetings for BDMs
  • Hit monthly qualified meeting goals
  • Track and monitor successes to improve sales messaging
  • Provide feedback to marketing to help ensure we reach the right people at the right organizations
  • Collaborate with the sales managers to improve processes and quality of meetings

Qualifications and Skills

  • 0-2 years sales experience  
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, high-activity sales role
  • Scrappy work ethic with an "anything it takes" attitude to achieving a goal
  • Self-starter
  • Obsessed with metrics and delivering ROI
  • Ability to make 40+ outbound calls on a daily basis
  • Interest in developing or growing a career in software/technical sales
